Math League PREVIEW *OCTOBER 23rd & 30th*
Grades 3-5
Sunrise Drive

Math League gives students an opportunity to gain recognition for their mathematical skills by participating in contests and is dedicated to bringing challenging mathematics materials to students. The goal of Math League is to enhance students' interest in math and encourages students to enjoy the challenges of solving problems. The Preview Class is a glance into the Math League season that is made up of a series of local contests throughout the school year. Top-scoring students will be able to advance to a District Championship in the Winter before qualifying for the State Championship, and possibly the National Championship. The Preview Class is an opportunity for students to see if they have the focus, persistence, self-direction, and ability to work with others. Team members must commit to weekly meetings and local weekend contests throughout the season.
