Early Release: Basketball Scrimmage 3rd-5th
Play like a pro! Your classmates become your teammates on the court as you scrimmage against one another. Scrimmage games are used to create chemistry between new teammates, practice plays and evaluate skill in a game environment. Coach Jeremy Daniels has almost ten years of experience and conducts camps and clinics across the country.
Early Release: Capoeira
Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art/dance form, improves physical and mental strength, encourages creativity while increasing agility and confidence. Instructor Anne Pollack has trained in Capoeira for over 23 years.
Early Release: Crazy Critters
Get up close with, and learn all about a new group of animals this quarter when Tucson Petting Zoo brings tortoises, rabbits, birds, bugs, etc. Take part in crafts and activities related to learning about these fascinating creatures!
Early Release: KidzArt K-2nd
A KidzArt certified instructor will guide students through a different project each week. Students will learn how to break projects into simple steps, art terms and vocabulary, as well as experience and learn techniques for varying drawing mediums. Our curriculum never repeats! No art experience necessary.

Early Release: TGA Golf
Tee it up this fall with Teach, Grow, Achieve (TGA), a national after-school sports enrichment program. TGA’s five-level program brings the golf course to school with specially-designed equipment for indoor or outdoor golf. Great for beginners as well as experienced golfers. All equipment is provided.
Early Release: Yoyos 2nd-5th
Come learn hand-eye coordination with Build a Skill Yoyo! Students will build their own yoyos, learn tricks and more. Instructor, Jess Gracia, has been teaching yoyo skills to large groups of students for over 15+ years. Students will be taking home two different yoyo’s in this class. No experience required.
Flag Football Intramural 3rd-5th
Learn the skills and techniques to master this field favorite and fulfill your enthusiasm for physical fitness and sportsmanship.Build team spirit and camaraderie with your teammates. Compete against other CFSD elementary school teams in a District-wide event in October. Participants will also receive a team shirt.
Instructional Chess (Semester Long)
Open to all ability levels, no prior experience necessary. Students build strategy and play games. Opportunities for optional weekend tournaments. KenLarsen, an instructor for over 30 years and a competitive chess player, has led CFSD students to victories at local, state and national tournaments.
KidStage Drama Workshop: Our fast-moving and fun workshop will have your kids exploring the many facets of theater through fun, thought-provoking and stimulating theater games and activities! No acting or theater experience is necessary and first-time students are encouraged to attend.
