Students will learn the fundamentals of programming by combining coding with art and design for unlimited fun with creating multimedia stories, animations and games using MIT's visual drag and drop Scratch programming interface. Students will get creative with designing their own characters, backdrops, recording sound, adding special effects and learn computational concepts of sequencing, loops, events, modularity and more. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A computer or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to join the course.
