TUESDAY - INTRO TO PYTHON PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE
The Introduction to Python Programming course lays a strong foundation of fundamental concepts of computer programming. The course follows a hands-on approach with heavy focus on implementation of coding concepts via activities and projects where students work with the instructor to create fun and imaginative graphics, animations and games. The project-based teaching methodology builds computational thinking, inspires creativity, hones analytical thinking and problem solving skills and prepares students to thrive in next generation careers. The course is divided into a series of modules including code design and debugging, syntax, data types, user interactions, math & string operations, conditionals, loops, error handling, functions and collections. This course does not require prior coding experience. This course is offered in live virtual classroom using Zoom video conferencing.
*The Python programming course offered in the 2nd quarter is a per-requisite for this course. Beginning students should choose the Python course offered on TUESDAY.
